For those who'll join the Ozine fest '09 here's the information::

art contest

Show your talent as we present to you this year's Ozine Fest Art Contest. We will be having two (2) categories for this contest; first, the "On the Spot Individual Contest," and the other one is the "On the Spot Group Contest." Each category will have two age brackets; 7 to 12 years old, and 13 and above. Registration is free of charge, contestants must present their ticket to be able to register for the contest. A No ticket, No registration policy will be strictly implemented.

We will be having a theme for each day on all categories. The themes are the following:

April 3 (Friday): Freestyle (original characters inspired from any anime series)
April 4 (Saturday): Games (online game character/s)
April 5 (Sunday): Anime (any anime character/s)


An individual art contestant cannot join the group art contest on the same day, and vice versa. An individual contestant can only join the group category on a different day as long as he/she is not registered on the individual category on the same day. If the contestant won for 3 straight days in one (1) category, he/she will have an additional prize of Php 500 and an additional Php 1,000 for the group contestants who will also win for three (3) consecutive days. Details for each category are as follows:

ON THE SPOT ART CONTEST INDIVIDUAL:

1. 1/4 illustration board will be provided (Art materials will be provided by the contestants).
2. Only 30 contestants per category each day (30 for kids and 30 for adults).
3. Draw any anime or manga (can be an original character or character from a particular series or manga).
4. Any medium except digital.
5. Artwork will be judged based on the drawing's quality and appeal.
6. Registration starts at 10am and will end until all 30 slots are filled.
7. First come first serve basis.
8. Deadline of submissions will be at 6pm on the event day.
9. Entries can only be claimed after the awarding of winner/s at the registration table.



ON THE SPOT GROUP ART CONTEST

1. 1/2 illustration board will be provided (Art materials will be provided by the contestants).
2. Only 15 group contestants per day.
3. Open to groups of 2-3 individuals.
4. No age limit.
5. Draw any anime or manga (can be an original character or character from a particular series or manga).
6. Any medium except digital.
7. Artwork will be judged based on the drawing's quality and appeal.
8. Registration starts at 10am until all 30 slots are filled.
9. First come first serve basis.
10. Deadline of submissions will be at 6pm on the event day.
11. Entries can only be claimed after awarding of winner/s at the registration table.
